Carmel, Ind. – Finding the best candidate for any job can be challenging, but when the role is vice president of operations in a niche industry, it can get a little complicated. Fuzion is fortunate that a perfect candidate came forth and agreed to relocate to Carmel, Indiana. Donald St Cyr joined Fuzion in mid-August 2017 to lead the operations team.

In his new role, Don will provide leadership and bring a new perspective to the areas of claims administration, consumer relations and LTCi vendor oversight. By focusing on metrics driven performance, he will ensure Fuzion continues to gain efficiency improvements that drive bottom line results.

Don brings extensive experience in the financial services industry to Fuzion, with a deep specialization in long-term care insurance. Before joining Fuzion, he made significant contributions while holding leadership roles at Unum, a leading provider of financial protection benefits in the United States and the United Kingdom, in the areas of enrollment and communications, underwriting and benefit administration.

“I am excited that we were able to bring such experienced talent to Fuzion, who will be able to contribute immediately due to his robust background in long-term care insurance operations and communicative leadership style,” stated Barry Staldine, Fuzion’s president and chief executive officer. “Not only does he understand the complexities of his area of responsibility, but he will continue our positive momentum and is a great fit for Fuzion’s collaborative culture.”

Don holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from Bentley University. In addition, Don earned his CLU and ChFC designation from the American College and maintains his producer license from the State of Maine.
