Fuzion Strengthens Its Hallmark Fraud Program
Each year, healthcare insurance providers lose more than $50 billion due to healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse. Fuzion’s robust fraud program is at the forefront of combating this serious issue in the long-term care insurance (“LTCi”) industry.
Fuzion’s hallmark fraud program helps LTCi carriers achieve results by partnering to implement systematic improvements in fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detection, mitigation, and resolution. The foundation of Fuzion’s program is a strong and experienced team of special investigation unit (SIU) case analysts who are skilled in conducting comprehensive investigations and have a passion for client service. The Fuzion team partners with its clients to customize a fraud program that can range from managing the entire SIU program to providing more targeted FWA services including training and building components of an FWA program to meet a client’s specific needs.
As an organization that is always evolving, Fuzion is excited to announce new leadership in our industry-leading FWA services area. Jane Menin Bagley, Esq. joined Fuzion in 2020 as Vice President and Chief Fraud Officer and oversees the SIU team where she brings great value to existing and future client FWA programs. With 30 years of LTCi experience including extensive SIU operations management experience, her deep knowledge, collaborative style, and leadership skills are a tremendous asset to both our team and our clients.
Jane will continue to build and enhance Fuzion’s FWA program services on the solid foundation shaped by the skills and credentials of Fuzion’s SIU team. The Fuzion team is comprised of experienced and certified fraud examiners who hold memberships in multiple professional organizations such as the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and other specialized organizations. The Fuzion SIU team brings a total of more than 70 years of fraud-related investigation experience to their roles.
Most importantly, Fuzion’s talented SIU team keeps our FWA program innovative by identifying and implementing continued improvements to our client programs to produce results. We are excited to share our LTCi expertise in the fraud, waste, and abuse area as we continue to make a positive impact on our clients and industry.
