Saying Goodbye to Don St Cyr

Carmel, Ind. – Saying goodbye is never easy but a goodbye due to the death of a trusted leader and friend is particularly painful. Don St. Cyr, Fuzion’s Vice President of Operations, passed away in his home state of Maine in early December 2018. Fuzion had the good fortune of having Don lead its Operations team for the last year, bringing a fresh perspective to the areas of claims administration, consumer relations and LTCi vendor oversight. His team benefitted from his guidance and steady demeanor and his peers and others around Fuzion enjoyed his contributions to various projects, but mostly appreciated Don for his genuine kindness. Don had a passion for mentoring people and always saw the potential in others; not only those that worked for him, but also associates that worked alongside him.

Over the years, Don made many positive contributions to the long-term care insurance industry. He was known by industry peers to be knowledgeable and friendly, always politely challenging others to look at practices in new ways. Before joining Fuzion, he held leadership roles at Unum in the areas of enrollment and communications, underwriting and benefit administration. The most important role Don held was as a husband to Alice and father to their two children, Donald, Jr. and Joseph. Don loved his family deeply, the outdoors, and his adorable Morkie dog, Chloe. We will sincerely miss Don and forever remember his smile and thoughtfulness.
